CrossFit Games
The #CrossFitGames hashtag represents the annual championship event for CrossFit athletes, showcasing “The Fittest on Earth.” First held in 2007 at a ranch in Aromas, California with 70 athletes, the Games have grown into a multi-day spectacle with $3M+ prize purses.
History
The CrossFit Games began as Greg Glassman’s vision to determine who was truly the fittest person on Earth through varied, high-intensity functional fitness tests. Early competitions featured workouts announced moments before athletes competed, testing their ability to adapt to unknown challenges.
