#ContentCop documented iDubbbz’s (Ian Carter) series of devastating critique videos ending YouTubers’ careers through meticulous research, mockery, and uncomfortable truths. The hashtag tracked Content Cop episodes destroying Leafy, Tana Mongeau, RiceGum, and others, establishing iDubbbz as YouTube’s “police” before his own controversial evolution.

The Format

Content Cop combined documentary research with comedy roasting. #ContentCop showed iDubbbz’s methodology: weeks researching target, exposing hypocrisy/lies, creating parody content mocking their style, then delivering final verdict. Episodes ran 20-40 minutes, longer than typical YouTube drama, lending gravitas. The green screen judge aesthetic reinforced “internet court” framing.

Career-Ending Episodes

Content Cop on Leafy (September 2016) exposed his bullying of children and weak chin jokes, contributing to Leafy’s ban years later. #ContentCop on Tana Mongeau (February 2017) revealed her lies and hypocrisy about “say n-word” drama. RiceGum episode (September 2017) demolished his content and character so thoroughly Rice’s response proved iDubbbz’s points. Each episode functioned as digital execution.

Fall from Grace

iDubbbz’s 2020s evolution—girlfriend’s OnlyFans support, apology for past edginess, reformed content—made him target of former fans. #ContentCop ironically turned on creator: critics called him hypocrite, “simp,” and sellout. His defense of girlfriend from harassment showed character growth, but audience who loved brutal takedowns wanted brutality, not maturity. The Content Cop became Content Copped by own audience.
