Overview
This One’s For You is Luke Combs’ debut studio album, released June 2, 2017. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 and spent 50 weeks at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart, breaking the record for longest reign by a male solo artist.
Historic Success
Singles “Hurricane,” “When It Rains It Pours,” “One Number Away,” “She Got the Best of Me,” and “Beautiful Crazy” all went #1 on Country Airplay — making Combs the first artist to send his first five singles to #1. “Beautiful Crazy” spent 21 weeks at #1, breaking the record for longest-running #1 country song.
Commercial Domination
The album sold over 4 million copies and spent over 100 weeks on the Billboard 200. Combs’ everyman persona, traditional country sound, and relatable lyrics about small-town life and heartbreak resonated with country fans exhausted by pop-country crossovers. He became country music’s biggest male star of the late 2010s.
