Tomorrowland is a Belgian electronic dance music festival held annually in Boom, Belgium, since 2005. Known for its elaborate stage designs, pyrotechnics, and massive international attendance, it’s considered one of the world’s premier EDM events.

Growth & Scale

Starting with 9,000 attendees in 2005, Tomorrowland grew to 400,000+ across two weekends by the 2010s. The festival expanded to Brazil (TomorrowWorld), sells out within hours, and features top DJs like Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Themed Stages & Production

Each year features a unique theme with fairy-tale stage designs — castles, giant books, enchanted forests. The Main Stage productions rival major concerts, with synchronized fireworks, lasers, and LED screens. The festival’s aftermovies rack up tens of millions of views.

Digital Expansion

During COVID-19, Tomorrowland hosted “Tomorrowland Around the World” — a virtual festival with 3D island stages and avatar attendees, reaching 1 million viewers. The innovation kept the brand alive during lockdowns.
