Overview
#DrDisrespect (Guy Beahm, ex-Call of Duty map designer) became gaming’s most theatrical personality through his 80s mullet/mustache/sunglasses character. The “Two-Time” (back-to-back 1993-1994 Blockbuster Video Game Champion… fictional lore) dominated battle royale streams (PUBG, Warzone, Apex) until mysterious Twitch permaban (June 2020) forced YouTube move.
The Character
6’8” athletic build, arena entrance production value, greenscreen Arena sets, Champions Club membership, violence/speed/momentum catchphrases, and over-the-top persona. The Doc wasn’t Guy Beahm playing games—it was a character. WWE meets gaming. Sponsored by Gillette, Mountain Dew, G FUEL, Turtle Beach.
The Ban
June 26, 2020: Twitch permabanned DrDisrespect mid-stream. No explanation given. Speculation: Mixer exclusivity talks, Twitch contract dispute, misconduct allegations (never substantiated). Doc sued Twitch (resolved 2022, both parties moved on). Moved to YouTube, maintained 4M+ followers, launched Midnight Society game studio (2021). The ban remains gaming’s biggest unsolved mystery.
