NBA Finals: Basketball’s Championship Series

#NBAFinals refers to the NBA Championship series, held annually in June — a best-of-7 playoff series between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference champions to determine the NBA champion.

Format

Best-of-7 series:

  • 2-2-1-1-1 format (higher seed hosts Games 1-2, 5, 7)
  • First to 4 wins claims the Larry O’Brien Trophy
