Also known as: Tech BroTech Bro CultureSilicon Valley Bro

Tech Bro describes stereotypical Silicon Valley male startup culture—Patagonia vests, standing desks, “disruption” obsession, and casual sexism. While some embodied worst stereotypes (WeWork’s Adam Neumann, Theranos’ fraud-adjacent culture), term also used broadly against tech workers. Culture peaked pre-#MeToo; post-2017 reckoning forced surface-level diversity improvements. Underlying power structures largely unchanged despite pronoun badges.
